Dr Jack McGowan
Course Leader
Dr Jack McGowan is a writer and performance poet with over ten years experience on the UK spoken word scene. His research includes contemporary performance poetics, writing for interactive media, and creative non-fiction. His poetry has been published in a range of online and print journals and magazines and he has performed his work at major festivals across the country.

Ruth Stacey
Admissions Tutor
Poet, prose and memoir writer with five published collections, including the award-winning poetry collaboration with Katy Wareham Morris: Inheritance. Stacey’s latest book, I, Ursula, was published Jan 2020. Her research is currently focused on imagined memoir and Symbolist poetics. An experienced copywriter, workshop facilitator, and freelance writer, Stacey also works as an illustrator.

Dr David Arnold
Senior Lecturer
David Arnold trained as a Classicist before moving on to doctoral work on twentieth-century American poetry. His research and teaching interests lie in poetry, American literature, ecocriticism and narrative criticism.
